ENPHE Forum 2026

Tartu, Estonia

!!!REGISTRATION IS OPEN!!!

The ENPHE Forum 2026 will be hosted and organized by the Tartu Applied Health Sciences University, in Tartu, Estonia. This event spans three days, offering a diverse and enriching program. The first day, Thursday, October 8th, 2026, is dedicated to the Student Program and the ENPHE Board Meetings. On the 8th, we will also offer a Pre-Forum AI Course, as well as an optional activity for the participants who would like to visit the Tartu University Hospital and have an introduction to the city. On Friday and Saturday, October 9th and 10th, we will offer several inspiration sessions and keynotes, as well as opportunities to discuss erasmus projects and present posters, whilst networking with members from the network.

The overarching theme for this year's events is "Community-Centered Physiotherapy: Bridging Research, Practice, Policy, and Health Technologies in Europe". This theme highlights the interconnection between research, practice, policy and technology, and how they impact each other and the evolving landscape of physiotherapy education. Key activities will include collaborative sessions and discussions aimed at driving meaningful advancements in the field.

As always, this event will not only be about professional growth but also about connecting with peers and enjoying the vibrant ENPHE community spirit. On Friday evening, we invite you to also register to join us for a memorable dinner and dance event, a perfect opportunity to unwind and celebrate together. Additionally, ENPHE sports activities will also be part of the Friday program, promoting the values of teamwork and physical well-being.

This forum offers an excellent opportunity for networking, sharing ideas, and fostering collaboration among educators, students, and professionals in physiotherapy education. Whether you are an ENPHE member or a non-member, you are warmly invited to participate and contribute to strengthening connections among European Higher Education Institutions in this vital field.

We look forward to welcoming you to this inspiring event in October 2026!

Title: The AI-Powered Educator: a hands-on workshop for teaching and creating with AI

Aim:

Artificial Intelligence is no longer something to merely discuss or occasionally use; it is becoming an integrated part of how educators think, plan, and create. This workshop is designed for teachers who want to move beyond general introductions to Generative AI and focus on embedding it meaningfully into their daily educational workflows.

We provide an update on recent developments and explore how GenAI can support student learning, enrich instructional design, and function as an active creative and cognitive partner rather than a standalone tool. Participants will also explore how AI literacy can be fostered in students and how GenAI can be integrated as a didactic approach within educational activities and classroom practice.

Through concrete classroom examples and guided activities, participants will critically examine both the opportunities and limitations of AI-supported learning. Throughout both the morning and afternoon sessions, participants actively work with a range of AI models and tools to develop ideas, materials, and teaching strategies, while experimenting with creative and educational workflows for content creation, instructional design, and working with complex information.

We conclude with a critical reflection on the role of professional judgment: how to balance GenAI-assisted output with pedagogical intent, expertise, and the uniquely human contribution of the teacher.

Participants are invited to take part in guided, safe, and inclusive challenges, including selected physical tasks inspired by the entrance tests of the physiotherapy programme at Tartu Applied Health Sciences University, providing a practical insight into physical readiness for the profession. Whenever possible, activities will take place outdoors; only in case of heavy rain will the workshop be moved indoors. Participants are therefore kindly asked to dress accordingly.
