ENPHE Summer News letter 2011 From the Executive Board  Welcome to the summer Newsletter. We hope that you have had a wonderful summer holiday and those who are on holiday, continue to have a great time.
It seems to have been rather quiet on the surface but the organizing committee in Estoril has been busy preparing our annual conference. We hope that you have registered to the conference, booked your hotels and also sent your abstracts for the poster presentations. We are looking forward to a successful and enjoyable conference organized by a very experienced and innovative team from three Universities near Lisbon in Portugal. The six focus groups have been working on their topics for two years since they were formed in Malta in September 2009. They have been busy preparing their reports and workshops, and we are all looking forward to their presentations and outcomes. The executive board has been collaborating with the ER-WCPT and working on policies and communicating with members. The coming conference and the General Assembly are important for all the members this time: The Executive board elected in Rotterdam in the spring 2009 has now served its term of two years and all the positions are open for election. We invite all of you who are willing to serve as an executive board member for the next term to send your intention and motivation letter for candidacy (Max 500 words) to reach the ENPHE office no later than 1st September 2011. If you are standing for the position of president please also indicate whether you would be willing to stand for executive board member in case you are not elected as the president. Just to inform you the current president Dr. Raija Kuisma and Vice President Wil Dielis are standing for re-election, while Treasurer Dr. Christoff Zalpour is not available for re-election due to other commitments. We are also looking for a University to be willing to organize the next conference, the date of which will be decided during the Country Coordinators Meeting in Estoril. If you are willing to organize the next and future conference please mail your intention to reach the ENPHE office by 1st of September 2011. Please indicate your preferred dates to the administration, info@enphe.org. If you think that any of our Ex- or retired members would deserve to be nominated for honorary life membership please ask our administrator for nomination form and guidelines, info@enphe.org.
