ENPHE Groningen green Conference – 10, 11 & 12 October 2019 – Groningen Netherlands

ENPHE Conference 2019 in Groningen – The end of Physiotherapy? Towards New Ideas on Health.

On behalf of Hanze University of Applied Sciences we have the pleasure to warmly welcome you to the ENPHE conference 10 – 12 October 2019 in Groningen.  The event is organised in close cooperation with all the physiotherapy programmes in The Netherlands.

The ENPHE Conference 2019 comprises three days of activities. The first day is dedicated to preparatory meetings for the board, working group- and student-meetings (10 October 2019). The second and the third days (11-12 October 2019) cover key notes, workshops and general assembly.

The workshops are partly connected to the working groups addressing specific themes related to higher education in physiotherapy such as facilitation of learning, practice-based learning, interprofessional learning, direct access, internationalisation, research, and digital healthcare in physiotherapy education. The keynotes and remaining workshops are focusing on the two conference themes. We will discuss and exchange on issues like: Where do we, as physiotherapists come from? To what end do we exist? What works and what does not work in physiotherapy and physiotherapy education? How do we prepare our students to cope with the complex challenges in health in the coming decade?

Our meeting offers excellent networking opportunities to debate on professional and educational issues of physiotherapy in higher education. Both educators and students are invited to attend the conference. You will meet many colleagues and students from Europe and beyond, be inspired by the ENPHE network, and of course, enjoy the hospitality of Hanze in Groningen.

Everybody is welcome to participate; both ENPHE members and non-members.

The organising committee: Evelien Mooibroek, Mathijs van Ark, Henk Willemsen and Karin Sulmann
